In 2019 I took a chance and booked for the Australian Outback Marathon with Travelling Fit. I was a bit apprehensive about bringing my son and his young family along with me as I felt the kids might have to miss out on a lot of the "adult" activities. I was wrong. This was THE MOST AMAZING and mind-blowing experience we have had as a family. I can't praise the whole trip highly enough. The food was absolutely amazing, staff were great, the accommodation was perfect and the race was unbelievable. I get emotional when I think about it, and can't imagine having another experience like this again. Everyone loved it, the food was AMAZING, activities and transfers were so well organized, there was plenty to do and it really wasn't that cold! If you have the chance to do this or are undecided, do it! I'll be going back. Thank you Travelling Fit for one of the top ten experiences of my life so far xxxSeona MacDonald, QLD
I just want to thank you and the rest of the Travelling Fit team for a fantastic weekend last week at Yulara. I had the best weekend that I have ever had. I have never been to a place that everyone made me feel so welcome. It was the first time that I've been to the Northern Territory so the heat, flies, sand and camels eating our signs made it so special to me. I loved all the jokes from everyone, even the bus driver who was taking us to the airport told us that we was going to Darwin and the lady bus driver on the drop on drop off bus told us at a stop at Uluru and people running towards her that if she drives forward they would run harder so then she drives forward. There was so many more. I loved all the dinners. I don't eat out much so they made me feel special. The marathon yes was hard but I loved every minute of it. It didn't help that it was snowing at home for the 2 weeks before. I do want to run it again and I would like it the same you couldn't fault it. Thanks so muchLeigh Philpott, TAS
Thank you and your team for an amazing Australian Outback Marathon trip. We had a fantastic weekend and it was lovely to meet you. The support Travelling Fit and the Outback Marathon team provided was touching. I would like to applaud you all for the fantastic environment you have nurtured over race years. The camaraderie and encouragement between runners and support staff was unbelievable and unforgettable.Fiona Jones, ACT
Three years of dreaming about coming to Uluru and competing in an event at the Outback marathon finally realised. Drove with friends from Qld to Yulara. The event and set up exceeded all my expectations . First time entering a half marathon - the location was stunning and the friendliness of staff and the organisation of the whole event excellent. Standout - Uluru at Sunrise, the Field of Light & the beauty of the event course .Lizbeth Johnson, NT
A dream that has come true. Before leaving for the Australian outback, I would never have imagined running in these fairy-tale landscapes, on this red earth, with a cobalt blue sky, savouring the scent of absolute freedom, in the silence of nature, where the only noise was that of my breath. It was a journey with myself and I will always carry this experience inside myself. Perfect organisation, impeccable with people who, with an incredible passion and a unique kindness, gave me the opportunity to experience this indelible experience.
In the name of smiles and happiness, simply thank youMonica Pennati, ITALY
Australian Outback Marathon 2018 - a magical experience even before landing. That it is different from all the others that I have done I understand it by looking out the window, seeing Uluru, the sacred mountain, which stands out, alone, in a fantastic landscape. The organization thinks of everything, attentive to any problems and putting you at ease as if I had done with them this marathon dozens of times (just do not know how they always remember my name). The race is unique, especially when after 20 km the group breaks and practically you find yourself running alone in a magical environment, which changes colour with the passing of the hours. An incredible atmosphere, on land that in some short stretches is sandy but never ever difficult, with everyone ready to incite you and always with a smile. Definitely the most beautiful and the most different I've ever done!Massimo Colli, ITALY
Can I first of all say what an absolutely brilliant time I had in Uluru this week. The entire package from start to finish, including the accommodation, the event itself and all of the add-ons were all first class. To you and the rest of the team, thank you all for your encouragement, hard work and professionalism, which is what made the event absolutely unforgettable.Britt Fraser – VIC
It was so nice to meet you, Mari-Mar, Michael and the rest of the Travelling Fit team at Ayers Rock and we just want to thank you once again for such a wonderful trip. Running the Australian Outback Marathon was so very special and it truly was an amazing experience and location that neither of us will ever forget. Who could forget all that red earth, sand and of course those sand dunes. Brent and I had such a fabulous time away made even better by sharing it with the wonderful Travelling Fit team. It was such a well organised event from the minute we arrived in Ayers Rock and continued right through until we left. The passion, enthusiasm, expertise and friendliness of the whole team was just incredible, so thanks again.Joanne and Brent Pitts – NSW
I am not an experienced traveller and so was a little nervous about finding my connecting flights, but all went well. When I left on Thursday morning Wellington was 12 degrees and raining. When I arrived at Uluru it was sunny and warm (probably in mid-twenties).
My arrival flight was full of runners and we were picked up and transferred to the Desert Gardens. I checked into the Desert Gardens, picked my race pack, went for the planned training run and the attended the Outdoor Welcome Dinner. The accommodation, training run & dinner were all good. I was up early to see the sunrise over Uluru which was very special. We then went to the base of Uluru and I joined a group of Australians in walking all the way round. Next was a brief visit to the cultural centre and then back to the Desert Gardens for lunch. We attended the Opening Ceremony & Race Briefing which was interesting. They gave the history of the AOM, introduced the different nationalities present & gave a race briefing. The Carbo Load Dinner was great.
The next day we had an early breakfast and headed out for the race. It was perfect weather for the race- a cool start before sunrise then warming up nicely. Raewyn went off on the half marathon at 7:45 and I did the 11km stating at 8:30. I completed my run in 58:07, conditions were perfect (mild & no wind). My overall position was 4th out of 70 finishers, gender position 4 of 32 finishers and age group position was 1st of 7 finishers. What was impressive was a lap-top & printer where you put in bib number and it printed your race time and splits and position in various categories. Drinks & food were available so you could stay & support the incoming runners. Raewyn did well, was happy with her run and I will have to check but I think she won her age group.
In the afternoon I did the helicopter flight over Uluru which was great ( my first helicopter flight) and the Uluru sunset Coach tour. On Sunday I went on the Kata Tjuta "Valley of the Winds walk" which was very impressive and the day ended with the AOM Celebration Dinner. This was drinks & dinner underneath the stars - good wine, food & company. Next day breakfast, checkout and journey home. The travel went smoothly, the accommodation was good, the running event was very well run and I met some great people.Charlotte Spurway – New Zealand
It was not just a run it was an experience. It was very well organised. The excursions were awesome. I walked round Ayers Rock and did a camel ride. I learned such a lot about the area and there were so many free activities at the resort. The final dinner outside in the middle of nowhere was just outstanding.Linda Te Au – New Zealand
To the whole crew at Travelling Fit....
Thank you for the most awesome trip. It was awe-inspiring, emotional, fun, full on and just genuinely fantastic! The family feel to such a world-class event is brilliant! I've never been to another event where newly made friends see you off at the end of your journey!!! Thank you all again for the organisation and planning. Please put me down for the AOM again, I'll be coming back to do the 6!Jude Planitz – QLD
The weekend was probably the best weekend I’ve had in Australia since I arrived here almost 5 years ago. From the moment that I landed to being dropped off at the airport, I wanted for nothing and everything had been thought of by you guys. The tours that I went on were incredible and so well organised. The hotel was spot on, with a really relaxed atmosphere and decent breakfast.
The marathon itself was easily my favourite one that I have done to date (and that was #9). The setting is just magical and the atmosphere on course and at the start/finish line was amazing. It was a pleasure to be in the company of the Travelling Fit team in the Outback Pioneer Pub the night after the marathon, hearing stories of the day and generally having a good time. The clientele at the event also contributed to the amazing energy of the weekend, talking to people about marathons in North Korea and South Africa was brilliant. The ‘Sounds of Silence’ Celebration dinner was an epic way to cap off a truly magical weekend.
I’ve been raving about the weekend to anyone that will listen this week and have already started thinking about whether I can do it all again next year. To you all, thank you so much for an incredible experience. I’ll sum up my experience with this: after 4 hours running in that heat, I’m bouncing across the finish line with a massive smile on my face!!!Colin Dunne – NSW
I wanted to write to you to say a massive thank you for an amazing experience in Uluru over the weekend. The Outback marathon was unreal!!! I had such a great time. It was a wonderful, intermit event. The Highlight of the race was having my name announced running through the finish line, that was super super special THANK YOU!! A big shout out to the photographers, they were so friendly and it was great having their smiling faces out on the course encouraging me all the way, and the photos I received today are amazing, they capture the moment so well.Sarah Beck – WA
As we return to ‘normal’ life today it would be remise of me not to take some time to send a quick note regarding our experience over the last five days. I made the decision to sign up for Australian Outback Marathon last August and after some procrastination and in decision, I was lucky to have a friend decide to come along on the journey who was super organised and took hold of the booking process. While I had imagined it would be an amazing adventure nothing quite prepared me for what I would gain from the experience and a lot of this comes down to the amazing organisation of the event and your team on the ground. A particular thanks to our amazing hotel liaison Lee! We were made to feel welcome from the outset at the airport and the delivery of the race packs at the hotel, especially since we were the only two to arrive at our hotel on that flight and were a day early! The accommodation was more than adequate, the meals were fantastic and even catered for a fussy eater, the extra activities were great and another opportunity to meet others. The race briefing and opening ceremony while serving an important purpose of the pre race preparation, created a general excitement among the group. The general friendliness and engagement with the other competitors encapsulated the whole experience. We certainly met some amazing people on the way including the locals. While everyone has their own motivation and reason for completing the race, I hope they all take from it as much as we did! Thanks again and who knows we may be back one day!Rebecca Purcell – NSW
I wanted to email and say thank-you for one of the best (in fact maybe it is the best) races I have ever run. It was an exceptional experience and the organisation by Travelling Fit was superb. You guys really did think of EVERYTHING and I have never run a race where so much was included from the meal the night before to a really good running t-shirt (usually I wear the t-shirt as pjs!) to all the food at the event and the wonderful support and camaraderie. It was a very special event and definitely a worthy bucket list adventure!Teri Lichtenstein – VIC
My girlfriend and I recently completed the world famous Australian Outback Marathon. Although it has been a couple of weeks since the run, we just wanted to say congratulations and thank you once again for organising such a wonderful event! We both had an unforgettable time in the Northern Territory and can't wait for the next run. The organisation and service provided by Travelling Fit was world class. All of the Travelling Fit staff and representatives were friendly and approachable, providing a friendly smile at every opportunity. They are to be highly commended for putting on such a tremendous event! A special mention has to go to our travel consultant Lee. He provided us with all of the relevant information in the lead up to the event, and entertained us with some great stories during the 'Silence of Sound' Celebration dinner. The trip provided such a unique experience - one we were privileged to share with other runners from around the globe. They say marathoners are a 'special' breed and they are not wrong. We met so many inspiring people along the way....prompting us to re-challenge ourselves once again. A day after we got home we booked our next marathon in Adelaide in late August. We will continue to spread the word on what an amazing service Travelling Fit provided us along the way. All the best and thanks again,Ross Montague and Ally Trefoni – NSW
Just a quick note of my appreciation for all your help and assistance with coordinating my booking for this year’s AOM. It was great to meet you finally and put a face to the name after months of emailing. I think you and the entire team at Travelling Fit did an awesome job in coordinating and keeping happy some 500 odd runners and supporters, which I know is no easy feat! I hope you got some downtime when you returned on Monday but I would have to say this was THE best organised event/tour I have ever done – all the thinking was made for me and it was fantastic. I look forward to doing another event with Travelling Fit in the near future.Jill Saker – NSW
Just arrived back yesterday from the Outback Marathon and I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate all at Travelling Fit for such a well organized and wonderful event. From the first enquiry through to the actual event it has been a pleasure to associate with all concerned. Apart from the actual marathon the highlight would have to be the Sounds of Silence Dinner Celebration Dinner - a beautiful night.Jackie Ginefra – VIC
Just wanted to drop you a line to say what an experience we had over the past 4 days. After 8 months of training my big day had arrived. Not knowing how these events run l was quite nervous leading up the run, but as soon as l hopped of the bus in the morning with the music blaring my body relaxed and before I knew it l was off running my first half marathon. I guess what l am trying to say is that this is one of the best experiences we have had in life and to share it with so many other people especially the kids in the photos we are so thankful for yourself and the whole Travelling Fit crew who made this experience for us pretty much a once in a lifetime opportunity. This will be something we will never forget.Jarrod Dempster and Amy Shakespeare – VIC
Can I take the opportunity to thank you all at travelling fit for a wonderful experience last week in the outback event. We had a great time and really appreciated all your care. A few good memories that will be high on the recall list for ever. Well done.Ali Woodward – VIC
My sister, Lindsay Holland, and I would like to thank you both for the amazing event that you organised in the Outback. We were also both so pleased that we changed back to the full marathon and, although we were Walkers, we did not come last! The organisation was superb. The events that you arranged, especially the Celebration Dinner, were fantastic. The atmosphere of the Marathon, with such friendly volunteers manning the aid stations, was very enjoyable. It was not just a Marathon - it was a 4 day Experience! I would definitely recommend this Marathon to anyone looking for a marathon 'with a difference'.Sue Parsley & Lindsay Holland – South Africa
What a weekend you guys gave us last weekend! An amazing experience that I will never forget! Thank you to you and all your colleagues at Travelling Fit for putting on such an amazing Outback Marathon Weekend. The organization and seamless flow of the weekend coordinating hundreds of people to so many events was simply amazing and you guys gave us a weekend to remember forever!Kate Ridge – NSW
We just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and the staff at Travelling Fit for organising such a memorable Australian Outback Marathon holiday. Bob and I have done quite a bit of travelling overseas but nothing compares to this holiday in our own backyard. It was so professionally run right down to the finer details and the service you all provide well you just couldn’t fault it. The accommodation and staff at the Ayres Rock Resort were great along with the volunteers, especially at the drink stations. We can’t thank you guys enough and look forward in booking future holidays through Travelling Fit.Darren Free & Robert Hayden
Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to you and your team for organising such a fantastic experience!! There was obviously a lot of hard work behind the scenes but it was a seamless event and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. I am going to buy a new pair of running shoes today as I had to bin them the evening of the marathon but I feel I left them at their spiritual home- they had done their job with little left to give! It was great to meet you and your team- you all made the event truly memorable. Thank you againDoreen Macgillivray – NSW
Hi team, I've just returned home from the Australian Outback Marathon experience & just wanted to say thankyou to everyone involved in putting on the event. I traveled to Uluru with two friends to participate in the event & we were all just so impressed at how well run it was. Our 5 night itinerary was great value for money, the tours brilliantly run, the food was exceptional & the accomodation options were terrific. I really can't pick a favorite (although the Sounds of Silence & Kings Canyon tour were pretty special) - every dinner & tour was just so great. The actual marathon event is a must do for any runner - we loved that it wasn't a huge group & the course was a good challenge. Since contacting you to enquire about the AOM until the end of our stay, the team couldn't have been more helpful & friendly. I'll definitely be telling my friends to book, & I'm hoping to do another Traveling Fit event in the future!Nicole Weber – NSW
What a fantastic weekend - one of the best (and hardest) marathons I have run, and also one of the best organised. You should be very proud of your professional efforts.Matthew Brierley – WA
I have completed 7 half marathons, all in many different locations including overseas - this was by far the best. The highlight of my running "career"!Josie Hunting – NSW
Just wanted to say a big thank you for a fabulous weekend. This certainly was a unforgettable experiences. From hotel staff, fellow runners to you guys everyone was so friendly and helpful. Due to a knee injury (I had no problems with my knee in training leading up to marathon??) I had to walk the last 15km – fellow runners were encouraging and one person even stopped and walked a km with me! and one of you guys slowed down in the car for some encouraging wordsTanja Windegger – QLD
The Australian Outback Marathon event is the most single most fantastic event that we have been a part of. The professionalism and fantastic service we received during our stay in Uluru left us wanting for nothing. The team are personable, funny, witty, professional, friendly people that were a pleasure to be around. Once again thank you for everything and for introducing us to a whole lot of other bunch of great peopleEffie Damaskopoulos – VIC
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the team for organising a fantastic event. I have run 15 marathons around the world and the Australian Outback Marathon stands out as the most memorable. I hope the event goes from strength to strength and will be encouraging my friends to enter in the future. Thanks!Nicholas Turner – NSW
Let me once again congratulate you on the wonderful Marathon we all experienced. Regarding the testimonial, let me say that " I always took pride in participating in Exotic Marathons in Exotic Locations like the Medoc, Safaricom in Kenya and Reykjavik. After participating in the Australian Outback Marathon, my definition of EXOTIC had changed. There can be nothing more Exotic than this. My wife and I enjoyed this so much and rate this as the best Marathon that we ran so far. Congratulations to all of you and Thank you so much,"Krishna Prasad – India
Words are really not adequate to express how much we loved the Outback marathon - not just the race (which has to have been one of the most glorious races on the planet, surely), but the whole few days. What an incredible and wonderful group of people, and so diverse, but all having one main thing in common. Our deepest gratitude to you all, for your outstanding organisation, support whilst we were there, and overall excellent friendship. We will speak so highly of the event that I expect you'll be selling out for 2011 shortly.Michelle Johnston and Richard Lewis – WA
Thanks for all of the hard work that you put into the inaugural Australian Outback Marathon event, you were exquisite hosts and we look forward to travelling with Travelling Fit in the years to come at a future Marathon event. We thoroughly enjoyed itinerary 1, and it was the highlight of our trip to Australia. It was wonderful going on the majestic and awe-inspiring tours of Uluru and Kata Tjuta. We also enjoyed making new friends, and meeting old ones while enjoying unique social outings and Australian foods such as kangaroo, crocodile and barramundi. The race was fantastic (what a wonderful and awesome course!) with excellent photos to remember the unique and memorable Australian Outback, and the medals/memorabilia were of great quality. Thank you once again for engraving Tawnecia's medal to make it extra special for her birthday. Tawnecia is proudly displaying her 1st female half marathon trophy on top of our fireplace in our home, and it was great to feel as "part of the family" of the Australian Outback Marathon with a personal announcement of both of us finishing and a hug from our hosts. We wish you all of the best success with the future of this event, and we both highly recommend the Australian Outback Marathon as not only a marathon, but as an adventure life experience that should be put on every runner/walker's bucket list.William Tai – Canada
I just finished my 13 hour flight back to the US (ugh!) and so I wanted to write you a quick note to tell you that I thought the marathon was a great experience and the whole team did a fantastic job! Please pass my kudos on to your colleagues. I especially appreciated your attentiveness to our arrangements and it was wonderful to finally meet you in person. I wish I wouldn't have slept so much in the early evening and had more energy to dance and have some fun that night!Carl Byington – USA
We just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful experience in Ayers Rock! We were both 'virgins' to this wonderful world of running but will definitely be back for more. Rob does a lot of running but I personally, hated it - until now. The location and course was fantastic. I didn't realize how nice it was to run on our very own red dirt! The rain in the days leading up to the event proved a god send. Did I mention the people? They made the event for me that's for sure. From so many different places and backgrounds yet everyone had the same warm 'welcome to the club' way about them. It was just fantastic. I have exchanged e-mail addresses and hope to catch up again, somewhere in the world. None of this could have been possible without the still unknown e-mail Rob received to enter. And of course, without you and your team (especially Tina). So thank you again. We are looking forward to seeing the photos and will be in touch for our next adventure (maybe a full marathon for me next time)Kelly Russell – WA
What an amazing experience to run my first 1/2 Marathon at the inaugural Australian Outback Marathon in spectacular Uluru. On a perfect morning for running, I set off with some nervousness wondering what lay ahead of my first 1/2 Marathon. I would have to say I loved every minute of the experience, except perhaps the headwind we encountered at about the 17-18km mark!! The red earth was an amazing sight, along with the camels we came across at the camel ranch. At one point in the run I took a deep breath and said to myself and my fellow running companion, "this is fantastic, some days it's tough going, but this is why we run" (I was looking ahead towards Uluru and had just left the vision of Kata Tjuta behind me). It doesn't get any better than that! A truly memorable experience and one I don't think I could top!Sandy Broadhead – VIC
I so thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and the 11km experience. It was probably the best holiday I've ever had, comparing it to the local and overseas holidays I've had. The hosts were fantastic, the running comrades were so amiable and interesting from so many walks of life and the food was glorious. It was also good to relax in a 5 star hotel. The Itinerary 1 package was extremely well put together and I was so glad I got to enjoy as much of Ayers Rock as I could with my running comrades. I hope I get the opportunity to enjoy another fab holiday and run with my beautiful running hosts!!!Margaret Dos Santos – NSW
THANK YOU! I had an AMAZING experience. Everything was well organised, professionally set up and I had to do little, just organise flights, payment and turn up. Exceptional support from all involved, great comradarie, professional workers, friendly atmosphere, provided a variety of experiences, catered for a variety of people. THANK YOU!!!Karen Eakin – NSW
It was well worth the money. The experience you just cannot describe. I spent time with the winner of the marathon as well as the lady who chose to enjoy the scenery the longest & although on completely different ends of the spectrum I gained so much from my time with them & was inspired listening to their own journey of getting here.Vicki Tillott – NSW
Thanks for making my first marathon experience so much fun, I would recommend this event to anyone looking for a personal achievement to remember! The landscape of Uluru is an incredible backdrop, and the Travelling Fit team of organisers and volunteers were professional and supportive every step of the way. Thanks Guys!Tanya White – NSW
Your Outback was great fun, and the organisation could not have been faulted..well done, and I hope it augers well for the future of the event. I enjoyed the accommodation, and I am glad I arrived early, as I appreciated more of Uluru and I would encourage more early arrivals next year! Take a good break and I hope it was financially viable, it must have been like organising an army over a year or two!Anne I’Ons – ACT
My running buddies and I flew across Australia from SA, NSW and TAS to meet at Uluru and run in the first Outback Half Marathon. The event was really well organised and had a fantastic feel. The didgeridoo starting gun, ochre red sand, and awesome views of the Olgas and Uluru made it a truly unique experience. If you like your runs to be memorable, this event is for you! Thanks Travelling Fit for enabling another of my running dreams to come true. We had a fantastic social running weekend.Catherine Ford – VIC
We just wanted to say a massive thank you for all of your efforts in staging the inaugural Australian Outback Marathon. I (Diana) have a goal to do a marathon in every state/territory in Australia, so when I saw this event advertised, it was not to be missed – and we quickly lined up to participate. We were both highly impressed with how well everything was organised for the event & associated activities – we had an incredible time & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was out first visit to Uluru, and you definitely picked a truly magnificent backdrop for the event. As a walker, I am always a little concerned about how I will be accepted by the marathon running community, but you get a big tick from me for the way I felt accepted and accommodated. We love the photos from the event too – the photographers did a great job & the customised certificates etc are great.Diana & Hayden Marshall – ACT
Well, my legs mightn't still be aching, but I am certainly still smiling. A huge thanks to you Tina, Mari-Mar, Michael and to everyone else who contributed to last weekend. The Australian Outback Marathon experience was every bit and more that I hoped it would be. I would certainly recommend it to any prospective runners, marathon first-timers or 7 Continent veterans, and I hope to be back myself next year.Rob Woolley (winner, 2010 Australian Outback Marathon) – NSW
Hi Tina, it was great to catch up with you, Michael & Mari-Mar. Thanks for a great experience and a holiday to remember; Ursula and I really enjoyed the whole package, the Uluru sunrise tour, evening BBQ at Sails, The Pasta Party, The Race, the Outback Pioneer unofficial post race party, and not forgetting the Sounds of Silence extravaganza, a wonderful finale to a great event, thanks to all.Joe & Ursula Clark-Murphy – WA
After the Uluru marathon I flew out to Borneo and France for a few weeks and have only just returned. Anyway, now that the red dust has settled, I just wanted to let you know how fantastic the Outback Marathon event was and that it blew my expectations out of the water! Every detail was covered professionally and impeccably. Being my first marathon, it was the most spectacular backdrop and perfect experience. The atmosphere was friendly and electric, the festivities were well planned and executed, the aqua aerobics was a perfect option and the photography was brilliant. They say that word of mouth is the best form of advertising so you will have the best advertising after such an amazing event. Well done to you and your exceptional team.Megan Davidson – QLD
Just a total thank you. When I finished that race in 5.12, you made me feel like I had won it!!Sally Duncan – NSW
Thank you for a life changing experienceNicola Delve – NSW
Thank you for a fantastic experience in the desert. The event was incredibly well organised and the atmosphere was excellent. It was a unique, memorable experience that I was delighted to have been able to participate in.Shaye Hunter – Russian Federation
Thank you for a wonderful experience! This was my first half marathon & I enjoyed the event so much it has inspired me to sign up for another half marathon in October this year - even though I've never really been a long distance runner.Neroli Brook – Canada
Cassie and I wish to sincerely thank you all for all the hardwork you all did to provide us with an incredible experience and as a mother and daughter will never forget. We still have smiles on our faces when we talk about our amazing 4 days, the people we meet, the things we did. It was amazing to be a part of such a visionary event, we will be forever grateful for your efforts. The natural beauty, vastness of what we ran in served as a reminder that we are just a little molecule and a huge breath taking spiritual land was awaiting us to run though its incredible red earth and sand. I have already told every single runner I know (and a few non runners to motivate them) to consider being part of this life enhancing event. Thank youKate Brereton – VIC
Thanks for the opportunity to have run in such a spectacular setting. Sometimes I think we are oblivious to the beautiful surrounds that we have to run in and I think this was a good wakeup call. It was also great to mix with some very special people. People that I can admire and aspire to be.Wendy Stibbe – ACT
Thank you for all of the great organisation it was really appreciated, all of the staff were so friendly and obliging. I had a fabulous trip.Tracey Moore – QLD
I was overwhelmed with how well the event was organised, and how delightful the race itself was - beautiful off-road course (I hate racing on bitumen), perfect weather, nice people to chat to before and after, helpful and friendly Travelling Fit staff, good food. It was definitely one of my most memorable and enjoyable race experiences.Andina Faragher – ACT
